As vegans, most of us share a "high regard for animal life" and dedicate ourselves to "higher principles" that are guided by this respect for animals. But being disciplined doesn't mean we've never woken up hung-over, wearing somebody else's underwear as a hat, and with the word "CUD" newly tattooed on our left asscheek. (I mean, who HASN'T been there?)

The point is: vegans know how to have fun too! And that's where Cleveland VeganZ come in.

Cleveland VeganZ is a monthly social networking event for people interested in promoting veganism and/or just getting together with like-minded individuals to chat over a beer. We hope that, by opening up a space for vegans to gather together, we can build new coalitions, problem-solve issues in our lives surrounding veganism, just plain ol' bitch and moan if need be, and most of all MEET OTHERS WHO SHARE OUR VALUE SYSTEM AND BOOZE IT THE HELL UP!

Regardless of whether you are a professional, a student, a hipster, a square, a parent, an early bird, a night owl, a one-legged debutante, or a robot, if you're vegan or have a serious interest in veganism, we hope you will come join in on the fun.

Our plan is to organize some sort of Friday night drinking event once a month, location TBA (but a new location each month), so that we can all gather, meet new vegans in the Cleveland area, and well, booze it up and unwind.

Cleveland VeganZ events will take place one Friday night each month, time and location TBA. It's an alcohol-based event and it will be at a bar, so you have to be at least 21 years old, of course.
